Interventions Alliance’s Eden House Recognized as Outstanding

CEP is delighted to share that Eden House, an Interventions Alliance residential service for women with high-risk or complex needs on probation, has been rated “Outstanding” overall by HM Inspectorate of Probation. In 2022, Eden House was honored with the CEP Public Protection Award. Our sincere congratulations to the team for this remarkable achievement.

“Eden House’s focus on rehabilitation is an exemplar of best practice.”

As one of only eight women’s Approved Premises in England and Wales, Eden House was the first women’s AP to be inspected under a new regime focused on public protection and rehabilitation.

Key highlights from inspectors:

  • A strong, trauma-informed and gender-responsive approach tailored to women’s needs
  • A cohesive, compassionate culture where staff and residents feel safe, respected, and supported.
  • Impressive leadership and partnership working with police, healthcare, and specialist services
  • “Outstanding” overall – with “outstanding” ratings for leadership, public protection, and rehabilitation, and “good” ratings for staffing and safety rewrite.

We are also happy to share that anyone interested to learn more on the Eden House and/or enter cooperation can contact the Intervention Alliance.
