Croatian Ministry of Justice visit CEP office in Barcelona, Spain
On 5th February 2025, a delegation from the Croatian Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation – Directorate for Prison System and Probation visited the CEP office in Barcelona at the Centre for Legal Studies and Judicial Training.
The visit was carried out in the framework of an Erasmus + project called “Visibly rehabilitated” in which the activities are job shadowing for probation officers. Five professionals from Croatia visited the French Probation Service to see their treatment programs for Sex-offenders and five other professionals from Croatia visited the Justice Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalonia – Spain) to see the treatment programs for Gender-based violence cases both in Probation and in Prison, together with a visit to the CEP office and the Centre for Legal Studies and Judicial Training.
During the visit, CEP presented CEP´s aims, objectives, strategic documents, and CEP’s annual plan for 2025, inviting colleagues to participate in the events. The Croatian delegation also presented their Directorate for Prison System and Probation including its structure and intervention programs.
CEP and Croatia both expressed their satisfaction with the current cooperation and reiterated their commitment to a solid future collaboration.
