CEP online expert group meeting on Education & Training
On 18th November 2020 the CEP expert group on Education & Training in prison and probation came together (online) for its third international meeting.
The agenda consisted of looking back to the Council of Europe guidelines that had been implemented in 2019 – what had been done with them so far in the various jurisdictions? Assistant professor Nicola Carr from the University of Nottingham (UK) presented and chaired this interactive session using the online tool Mentimeter.
Subsequently Mrs. Emmanuelle Cretin from the European Commission Judicial Training Department gave an update on her organization’s developments in the field.
After that two online training modules were presented: the PONT project online training course on the implementation of the Framework Decisions 829 and 947 (by professor Ioan Durnescu from the University of Bucharest, Romania) and the Dialogue Trainer (by Mr. Joep Hanrath from the Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands).
Presentations:
- Nicola Carr: the Council of European guidelines
- Results of the Mentimer questions
