CEP continues its series of webinars | Next up – Alternatives to Detention (23/01)
CEP continues its series of webinars on key topics in probation. Building on the 2024 webinar series, which explored alternatives to detention, radicalisation and violent extremism, volunteers, technology, and assessment, CEP will offer its members and all professionals interested in probation practical insights and expertise.
The 2025 webinars will focus specifically on alternatives to detention, radicalization, and assessment, providing first-hand knowledge and experiences in these crucial areas.
We are thrilled to invite you to the first webinar of 2025, which will focus on alternatives to detention. This session will explore penalties and alternative punitive measures to imprisonment within the Polish justice system, offering valuable insights and practical examples.
The speaker of the session, Mr. Łukasz Zajic, is a lawyer and educator, who has been working as a court probation officer in the Criminal Division of the District Court in Przemyśl for over 17 years. He is a member of the National Council of Probation Officers for the 5th and 6th terms from the Przemyśl District. He is a co-organizer of the Probation Campaign Against Violence in his judicial district and has been closely collaborating with the administration of the prison in Przemyśl for 15 years.
The registration is free of charge and closes on 22 January.
