Recap: Webinar on Assessment
The final webinar of 2024, focused on the topic of assessment, was held on Thursday, November 21.
The session was led by Secretary General Jana Spero Kamenjarin and emphasized the critical role of assessment in probation work. Guest speaker Mr. Gio Namchevadze, representing Georgia’s National Agency for Crime Prevention, Execution of Non-Custodial Sentences, and Probation, underscored that while RNA tools are valuable, they cannot substitute the expertise of probation specialists, who are essential for ensuring the accuracy and quality of assessments.
