Education and Training Network – online meeting

On 7th March 16 participants from 9 different EU member states joined the CEP Education and Training network online meeting. The network meeting was about Training probation professionals soft skills with the DialogueTrainer tool.

Mr. Michiel Hulsbergen, CEO and founder of Dialogue Trainer and Dr. Joep Hanrath, University of Applied Sciences – Hogeschool Utrecht, presented and discussed on – How do we train conversations skills? How do we measure performance to identify training needs? And what is the value of online simulations? Click here to download the presentation on Training professional soft skills with the DialogueTrainer tool.

Participants had the opportunity to practice with the DialogueTrainer tool by playing a scenario together and individually.

The meeting was moderated by Ms. Maret Miljan – CEP Board member and Chair of the CEP Education and Training Network.

The members of the CEP Education and Training Network will meet face-to-face by the end of the year in Brussels.

CEP Member visit to the Probation Service in Albania

On 22 April 2026, the Confederation of European Probation carried out a member visit to the Probation Service in Albania, where the delegation was warmly welcomed by Ms Irma Bime, newly appointed Director General for Probation, Mr Eris Sheshi, Director of Electronic Monitoring and Ms Drisilda Memollari, Head of the Probation Office in Tirana.

CEP was represented by Ms Jana Spero Kamenjarin, Secretary General, and Mr Daniel Danglades, Vice President.
