CEP Presentation on European Probation Work
On 21st February 2023 Ms Annie Devos, CEP President and Ms Jana Spero, CEP Secretary General presented on-line for the participant of the School of Penal Management in Rome, Italy.
This was a part of the education for future directors of prison and probation units within the Italian Ministry of Justice. Host was Director Domenico Giuseppe Arena. Ms Devos and Ms Spero presented European Probation: Work of CEP, History of probation in Europe, Panoramic view of Probation Systems in Europe, CoE reccomendations in the field of probation, SPACE statistics and general information regarding probation staff, treatment work in probation and probation sanctions.

Looking for reliable criminological literature? KrimDok is a free online database developed by the University of Tübingen and supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
The database contains nearly 400,000 references to books, journal articles, reports, and other publications covering criminology and related fields such as criminal justice, psychology, sociology, education, and law. It draws on a specialist criminology library established in 1969, with a collection of around 150,000 titles, and includes indexed articles from more than 200 academic journals.
