CEP at the EMPRO Symposium hosted by ERA
CEP actively contributed to the EMPRO Knowledge Exchange Symposium hosted by the Academy of European Law (ERA) in Trier on 28–29 January, bringing together practitioners, policymakers, and researchers to reflect on the implementation of EU Framework Decisions in probation and supervision.
CEP Vice President Daniel Danglades chaired the Symposium, guiding discussions on progress, challenges, and the future direction of EMPRO. CEP Secretary General Jana Špero Kamenjarin delivered a keynote address on CEPs participation at the High-level Forum on the Future of EU Criminal Justice, highlighting CEP’s strategic role in shaping EU criminal justice cooperation.
CEP was also represented by Gerry McNally, CEP Ambassador, who contributed with a presentation on EU and Council of Europe perspectives, reinforcing CEP’s commitment to knowledge exchange, mutual learning, and effective cross-border cooperation.
