Recap: First face-to-face meeting of the Expert Group Chairs

On 9 December 2025, the CEP Office in Utrecht hosted the first face-to-face meeting of the Expert Group Chairs. The purpose of this meeting was to reintroduce the work of the Expert Groups and explore connections between work plans, opportunities for cooperation, and areas of common interest.

The session was opened by Jana Špero Kamenjarin, CEP Secretary General, who emphasized that the role of Chairs is essential for the effective and sustainable functioning of the groups. Together with CEP Policy Officers, Chairs lead the work within the framework of two-year mandates. Their responsibilities span strategic leadership, quality assurance, coordination, representation, and facilitation—ensuring that Expert Groups deliver high-quality outputs, maintain alignment with organizational goals, and operate in an inclusive and collaborative manner.

The CEP Office would like to thank all members of the Expert Groups, as well as CEP members, for their commitment, collaboration, and valuable contributions throughout the year.
