New CoE website Prisons and Community Sanctions and Measures
Historically speaking, the Council of Europe has played a pioneering role and has a unique experience in promoting humane treatment of offenders, decent prison conditions and socially effective and rehabilitative penal sanctions and measures.
The Council of Europe Criminal Law Division launches a new website “Prisons and Community Sanctions and Measures”.
Browse the website to learn more about the activities, also about the latest SPACE Statistics published and the upcoming 22nd Conference of Directors of Prison and Probation Services (CDPPS) on “Staff selection, training and development in the 21st century” (20-21 June 2017, Lillestrøm).
