More than 750 participants from 160 countries came together for the V World Congress on Justice With Children, held from 2 to 4 June in Madrid, Spain, and more than 6000 participants joint online. The Congress, organized by the Global Initiative on Justice With Children and a wide network of international partners, called for systemic reforms to address violence against children in justice systems and to promote Child centered justice systems.

The EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) has updated its online criminal detention database, which includes national standards, laws, and monitoring reports on detention conditions in the EU and the UK.
From 6 to 7 May, the CEP Conference on the Public Perception of Probation in Europe took place in Antalya, Türkiye, bringing together over 100 participants from more than 20 countries. The event offered space for open discussion, exchange of experiences, and practical ideas on how probation is seen and supported across Europe.
