The latest interview in the “Division24” series features Prof. Fergus McNeill discussing his book Pervasive Punishment. McNeill, a professor at Glasgow University, shares insights into his life and explores whether probation and supervision can sometimes be counterproductive. The series, hosted on the “Division24” YouTube channel, focuses on what criminal offenders need to desist from crime in the future. Interviews are conducted with experts in probation and community-based offender support across Germany and Europe.
The fourth interview in this series will be released on January 16, 2025, at 15:45 CET. It will feature an in-depth conversation with Ulrike Stahlmann-Liebelt from Flensburg. She will discuss her biography and her role as the “Representative for Victim Protection of the State of Schleswig-Holstein,” Germany.
