Webex conference on Human Trafficking

The University of North Carolina in Pembroke (United States) organizes an online conference on Human Trafficking, taking place via Webex on 23rd March at 14.00-17.00h CET  (09.00-12.00h local time in the USA)

Several experts on human trafficking who will share with the audience what there is to know about the fastest growing crime epidemic in the world, and how children can be saved from being lured into the world of sex trafficking.

The International Labor Organization estimates that nearly 21,000,000 people—mostly young women and children—are subjected to modern day slavery across the globe including forced labor and sex trafficking. The conference listens to experts and one victim who has survived the scourge of sex trafficking.

Meet the CEP Board

The General Assembly takes place every three years. The last General Assembly was held on 15 October 2025 in Vienna, Austria.
The CEP Board has a President, two Vice-Presidents, a Treasurer and a maximum of eight ordinary Board members. The General Assembly elects the President, two Vice-Presidents and a minimum of three and a maximum of five other board members from among its members. Three members may be appointed by the Board from among the full or associated members to ensure that the specific expertise and interests are represented. The Board appoints the Treasurer, who can be a board member or an ex-officio board member of which an explanation is given in the internal regulations.
