CEP Awards 2025

The CEP Awards ceremony took place during the Gala dinner on Wednesday, 15th October 2025, in the Palace of Justice, where the winning projects were awarded. Highly commended projects will be published on the CEP website after the General Assembly. CEP will also disseminate it through its social media.
CEP President, Secretary General and Board members would like to thank all CEP members for sending their proposals as well as for the positive work being developed. CEP is encouraging all its members to continue working on high-quality probation services in Europe and to contribute to safer communities by rehabilitating and reintegrating people who have offended.

Categories

  1. Rehabilitation and social inclusion (The Sue Hall Award) – An award for effective rehabilitation and work which promotes social inclusion of probation clients.
  2. Enhancing the profile of probation and promoting professionalization  – An award for work raising the profile and public awareness of probation and for promoting the development of probation practice through the development of skills and training.
  3. Probation Research – An award for research which has had a demonstrable impact on probation practice and/or policy within the last five years.

Rehabilitation and social inclusion (The Sue Hall Award)

The winners of the CEP Rehabilitation and social inclusion (The Sue Hall Award) are

  • 'Meuse Probation Service, problem-solving justice specialized in drug addiction in Verdun' the project from the French MoJ / Meuse Probation Service.

  • The project 'The inclusion of Restorative Justice practice in Probation' from the Department of Justice and Democratic Quality in Catalonia - Directorate General of Probation and Juvenile Justice, in collaboration with AGI Fundation (Fundació Assistència i Gestió Integral).

Enhancing the profile of probation and promoting professionalization

The winner of the CEP Enhancing the profile of probation and promoting professionalization Award is

The initiative “Changing Perceptions” from the State Probation Service of Latvia.

The highly commended in this category are:

  • 'Campaign septEMber' from Reclassering Nederland, Netherlands.
  • 'Irish Probation Framework (IPF)' from the Irish Probation Service. Ireland.

Probation Research

The winner of the CEP Probation Research Award is

The project ´Modelling the societal value of probation in the Netherlands´ from the research group Modelling Societal Impact from Saxion University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with Reclassering Nederland, SVG Verslavingsreclassering and Leger des Heils Jeugdbescherming & Reclassering in the Netherlands.
