The 9th Conference for Directors General in the sector of probation was hosted by the French Ministry of Justice. It was a special edition as during this conference CEP celebrated its 40th anniversary! Therefore the Abbey of Royaumont, located near Paris, was chosen as the conference venue since this is the same venue where CEP was founded in 1981.

The Conference, specifically for Directors General, policymakers, and senior managers in probation organisations, was held on 23-25 November 2021 and focused on the following key strategic issues for probation:

  • Probation in the “new normal”
