CEP signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Yellow Ribbon Czechia
On Thursday, 11 June 2026, CEP Secretary General Jana Špero Kamenjarin and Director of Yellow Ribbon Czechia Veronika Friebova confirmed its long-standing partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding which outlines their shared goals and areas of collaboration.
On the same day, the Yellow Ribbon Run, the flagship event of the project, took place in Prague. The YRR aims to raise awareness about second chances and supports the reintegration of people in conflict with the law, promoting social inclusion and community engagement. Over the past two years, the Yellow Ribbon project has expanded across Europe, with Poland, Croatia, Lithuania and other countries organizing the activities under the Yellow Ribbon umbrella.

Bringing together professionals from probation, restorative justice and prisons, the Summer Course once again demonstrated the unique value of cross-sector learning, international cooperation and professional exchange.

With a total budget of €9.4 million, the call aims to fund projects that contribute to the digitalisation and effectiveness of justice systems, strengthen the protection of victims, and promote access to justice and judicial cooperation across Europe.

Delegation from Azerbaijan visits CEP Office in Utrecht

On 23 June, a delegation from Azerbaijan visited the CEP office in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The delegation included representatives of the Probation Service, Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan and representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Netherlands. The visit to the CEP office was part of a broader learning programme with Reclassering Nederland.
