This session marks the beginning of a new working cycle for the network and will provide an opportunity for members to welcoming and engaging with newly joined participants.

Setting Priorities for 2026–2028
A central focus of the meeting will be a collective exchange to identify key priorities for the 2026–2028 period. This discussion is particularly relevant in light of the planned face-to-face meeting in 2027, as it will help ensure that participants’ interests, needs, and expectations are reflected in both the preparation of that event and the network’s future activities.
Ongoing Work and Key Topics
The meeting will also address ongoing initiatives, including:
The mapping of training institutions across Europe, aimed at strengthening knowledge exchange and collaboration
An update on CEP’s commitment to supporting the implementation of the European Commission’s Strategy on the Digitalisation of the Justice Sector
Participation in this meeting is strongly encouraged, as the expertise of members is essential to shaping a relevant and impactful agenda for the network.
Organisations that are CEP members and involved in the training of probation professionals, but have not yet actively participated in the network, are especially invited to join. This new phase offers a valuable opportunity to: contribute perspectives and share expertise, highlight priorities and training needs for Probation staff across Europe and actively shape future developments in probation education and training.
