Jo Tein, a CEP Board Member, represented CEP at the International Conference on “The Role of Restorative Justice in Criminal Matters – Towards a Community-Centered Justice System.” The conference was held on October 12-13, 2023, in Tbilisi, Georgia. This international event was organized by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and the Prosecution Service of Georgia in collaboration with the Council of Europe, UNICEF, and the European Union. The conference brought together international experts and professionals to discuss various topics related to alternative mechanisms for juvenile and adult criminal prosecution, restorative justice, victim support, and the role of the community.
