Director General meeting, online, 2025

On Thursday, March 13, 2025, 30 Directors General and Senior Managers from across the CEP membership, representing 20 jurisdictions, gathered to continue discussions on European funding opportunities.

This session featured presentations on practical experiences with completed projects by Iuliana Carbunaru and Ramin Farinpour. Iuliana Carbunaru shared insights from a project funded through the Norway Grants between 2017 and 2024, involving 16 partners. She outlined the entire process—from initial white paper, drafting to practical implementation—emphasizing the importance of clear communication among partners, assembling a strong support team, and having a well-defined vision for project participation.

The second presentation focused on the practical aspects of implementing an EC-funded project, covering key stages from achieving the required evaluation scores to the signing process. It underscored the significance of strong partnerships, realistic planning, and effective project administration.
