Expert group
Electronic Monitoring
Recognizing the importance of Electronic Monitoring (EM) for the CEP members, the former EM preparatory group, which previously focused on planning and organizing biannual Electronic Monitoring conferences, has been restructured into an Expert group starting in 2025.
This expert group will not only continue to plan and organize future CEP EM conferences but will also engage in additional activities and provide valuable information during the years when the EM conference does not take place.
The group
The aim of this expert group is:
to plan and organize biannual EM conferences;
to organize activities related to the EM in between the conferences;
to support policy developments and facilitate data collection;
to improve co-ordination and co-operation between CEP members regarding the wide spectre of ongoing technological innovation projects in probation.

This year's conference is held under the theme "Electronic Monitoring in a Changing World – Perception versus Reality".
