On the 28th and 29th of June 2018 ERA Academy of European Law organises the final seminar in a series of four cofunded by the European Commission on issues related to countering terrorism and radicalisation. This seminar will focus on a deeper analysis of the highlights of the last three seminars of the series, reviewing what has happened since then and drawing conclusions about possible future action in the field.
- Update on the EU’s anti-money laundering and asset recovery regime within the context of countering terrorist financing;
- Latest developments in relation to information exchange and the use of ECRIS to counter terrorism. New approaches to prevent, deter and counter radicalisation in detention;
- Probation and alternative sanctions as means of preventing radicalisation, deradicalising and rehabilitating offenders.
Who should attend?
Judges, prosecutors, lawyers in private practice, ministry officials and officials from judicial training institutions, prison administrations, the probation services and prison monitoring bodies.
