Risk management of (released) radicalised offenders

17 million euro. That is the 2011 action grants budget of the Prevention, preparedness and consequence management of terrorism and other security related risks programme (2007-2013) of the European Commission (also known by the acronym CIPS). As far as the CEP office knows no probation organisation has ever received a grant from this programme. However, some member organisations did receive European funding for projects on focussed on the prevention of radicalisation of offenders. More information on the CIPS programmecan be found here

The programme Prevention of and fight against crime of the European Commission (also known as ISEC) has a similar budget and also focuses, among other topics, on radicalisation leading to terrorism. For more information about this programme, click here
