Prison Reform Trust publishes report on reforming women’s Justice

The Woman Justice Task Force of PRI launched a report with recommendations on effective community sentences, women's imprisonment reduction and reinvesting in support services for female offenders. Although a UK report, it raises important issues for all member states. The share of female prisoners in relatively small (5% in the UK), but they come with a particular set of problems, often involving children. The brief report looks at how structure and accountability, and the reinvestment of resources, could be used to support reform of women's justice.
