European Journal of Probation
European Journal of Probation is a peer review academic journal aiming to promote comparative research on probation and community justice across Europe. The planning process for this new Journal has been greatly strengthened by the co-operation with the new Journal EuroVista. The two new Journals are aiming to co-operate rather than to compete, with the European Journal of Probation concentrating on articles which provide substantial accounts of research on probation topics while EuroVista aims to present more applied material which will concentrate on practical implications for staff and managers in probation and other criminal justice agencies.
European Journal of Probation was launched 1 April 2009 and was until 2011 a biannual e-journal. From 2011 onward the journal has three issues per year. The Editorial Board includes well known academics and criminal justice professionals from twelve different countries.
