The FORINER project is coming to an end during the Final FORINER Conference, that will take place on 28th of November 2017 in Brussels at the Ellips building (Flemish Government).
The FORINER project, which was launched on the 1st of January 2016, was initiated to provide EU foreign national inmates in EU prisons with access to qualitative, low threshold, certified learning opportunities provided by home institutions, but received by the inmate in an EU foreign prison.
During this one day event, the main achievements of the Foriner project will be presented. Throughout the project they investigated several models to offer distance education to foreign national prisoners in their native language. The scientific evaluation report which includes the results of the investigation will be presented during the conference. The purpose of the event is to bring together professionals from all over Europe who work actively in the field of prison education, distance learning and digitalisation in prison.
